Scott Nicholson

Scott Nicholson is a native Mississippian. Born in Pascagoula, raised in Pearl, he then moved to North Mississippi not long after high School to pursue his calling in ministry. Scott married the love of his life, Susan, in June of 1998 and they have one son, Peyton.

In 1990 Scott felt God’s guidance and leading into a ministry role. While still a senior in high school, he pastored his first church. For over 20 years God allowed him to serve in a pastoral role at churches in Mississippi and Alabama. While serving as senior pastor in Fulton, MS, God opened the door to serve as chaplain for Itawamba AHS and Head Coach, Jamie Mitchell. Little did Scott know, that this would lead to ten years of his life given to the ministry of coaches student athletes. During this time, he developed a deep love for coaches. For this reason, Scott has made it the mission of his life since 2015 to minister to coaches on a full time basis.

Scott looks forward to continuing this mission through the ministry of “Bigger Than Ball.”
